Mallow has a new state-of-the-art library. Located on the Main Street, close to the historic Clock Tower, the library is housed in an impressive modern building and is fully accessible.

Mallow Library Easter Bonnet Decorating Workshop:

To celebrate Mallow's Racing Home For Easter Festival, Mallow Library offers children an Easter Bonnet decorating workshop on Holy Thursday, 1st. April.
Bring along your hat, learn to decorate it and wear it to the parade on Easter Monday.

Mallow Library Annual Colm Duane Memorial Art Competition:

In honour of Colm Duane R.I.P. the Thomas Davis Pipe Band kindly sponsor a competition each year in Mallow Library. This year the theme of the competition is to design a St. Patrick's Day Card on a folded A4 sheet with any art medium.
The competition is open to individual primary school pupils from junior infants to sixth class. The winner of the competition will receive an individual prize and their school will be presented with the perpetual trophy to hold until March 2011.
Please don't  forget to include your name, age, class and school on the inside of your card.
The closing date for entries to the competition will be Friday, March 5th. 2010 and all entries received will be displayed in the Library during the month of March.
