Game/Course Angling
The Blackwater catchment offers first class fishing of trout, salmon, roach, dace and perch. This excellent river has few equals as a competition water and is a most important game/coarse angling river.
Ballyhass Lakes
Ballyhass Lakes is about 12Kms from Mallow Town and offers an all year round angling for days out and holidays. Ballyhass Lakes consists of two spring water lakes with plenty of Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout and Salmon. Horseracing
Mallow is synonymous with Racing. Cork Racecourse Mallow is a modern racecourse set in the midst of deep woodlands on the bank of the Blackwater River approximately 2 km from the town on the main Mallow/Killarney road. See: www.corkracecourse.ie

Majestic Pitch and Putt
New members always welcome. The club is located on the Old Cork Road and open from 9am to 9pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday. Under 12s must be supervised at all times.

O'Callaghan Equestrian Centre/Eden Hill

Playgrounds
Mallow has three revamped play grounds. One on Park Road across from Mallow Town Park , another at Sandfield, close to the resurrection church and Scoil Gobnatan and one in Woodview Drive.
