Engineering Cluster
The Engineering Cluster is an initiative of Mallow Development Partnership, set up in the locality, which links education and training services with businesses to create awareness and jobs. This exciting new venture brings together a broad range of stakeholders and aims to promote the areas of Engineering and Technology, with the ultimate goal of increasing employment opportunities, business opportunities and the success of all the areas Engineering companies. Through education providers, local schools, industry partnerships and local businesses, we believe that common goals can be achieved for the ultimate benefit of all the area and its people. We are now joining forces with Charleville Chamber and Ballyhoura Development ,who are in the process of setting up an engineering cluster. Together, we hope to create and employ a cluster Manager in the short term

The North Cork Business Alliance (NCBA) was set up as a referral network for business people in the North Cork Region. The group meets weekly to exchange referrals, support each other and to benefit from internal and external business training. As local business people, they share knowledge and ideas and ultimately expand business contacts. The group consists of sole traders, micro businesses and small to medium enterprises who are dedicated to improving the local and national economy.
