Mallow has become the first town in Cork County to offer free public wi-fi. The initiative, which is a partnership approach between Cork County Council and CIT is available to the general public on a pilot basis from Market Square down to the new Thomas Davis Civic Plaza. Free access is for 60 minutes.
The complimentary Wi-fi is an essential service for tourists and shoppers alike to show case what Mallow town and its environs have to offer visitors.
Mallow Development Partnership has worked on this key initiative with Cork County Council and CIT and are delighted that that the project has come fruition. If the pilot is proven to be successful, it is hoped to extend the service to other parts of the town.
