Spooktacular Events at Mallow Castle, Sunday October 30th from 4.00pm

GHOSTS, ghouls and things that go bump in the theme of a Halloween ‘spooktacular’ event taking place grounds of Mallow Castle on Sunday, October 30. ‘Get into the spirit’ of the season, inviting people to dress up as scary spectres, wrathful witches and wizards and possessed phantoms for an afternoon of freaky fun and frolics. The event, which will run from 4pm – 6pm, will be packed with entertainment including a performance by the Centre Stage School of their spine-tingling ‘Thriller’ dance. Lightbulb Youth Theatre in conjunction with CDYS will also perform a dance routine. Mallow Christmas Family, Food & Craft Fair

The Mallow Christmas Family, Food & Craft Fair will be held in the newly refurbished grounds of Mallow Castle on Saturday 3rd December from 12noon to 5pm. A large range of quality food and craft stalls will be present - offering free samples and festive gift ideas for those who want to get a bit of Christmas shopping ticked off. Mallow Gift Card Launched

Mallow Chamber of Commerce launched the Mallow Gift Card on October 20th 2016. The initiative will see more shoppers in Mallow. Mallow Chamber has teamed up with One4All to create a special One4All card for Mallow only. This card can be used in over 50 outlets in Mallow. The card is in response to the increase in the amount of up to €500 that an employer can give an employee “tax free”. For those employers that would be in the position to award their employees with a “tax free” voucher from €50 to €500 - It would be great if they used this card and kept the money locally. High Hopes Choir Concert at St James Church, October 21st 7.30pm

High Hopes Choir Concert takes place in St. James Chruch, Mallow on Friday 21st October at 7.30pm. The Choir works to raise awareness of homelessness, mental health and suicide. All proceeds on the night go to Cork Penny Dinners and St. James Church. Tickets are 15euro each and available from Katie's Newsagents, Main Street, Mallow.
