The Festival which is being held on Saturday August 10th is growing year on year and last year saw a record number of eighteen teams taking part.

Opening the proceedings Club President Paul Barry thanked everyone for attending and wished the Committee well for the upcoming event. Next to speak was Sean Hayes, owner of MTD Precision Engineering Ltd. and who are the main sponsor of the Tag Rugby Festival. Sean spoke regarding the importance of inclusion in sport, and also that the participation of the Cope teams in the annual festival is something to be very proud of.
